Labor Day in Melbourne

This weekend Rebecca and Todd, Jenny and Dan, and the nieces and nephews all headed over to Grammy and Grandpa's house in Melbourne. We drove over Saturday morning and spent two great days playing at the beach and swimming in the pool ! It was truly a special time! We loved every minute of it!

Practice Makes Perfect....and so does Patience!

As we patiently await Gods timing in our lives and continue to go thru the process of a zillion doctors appointments to figure it out, we have been filling our baby void by volunteering in our Childrens Ministry at our church. We have actually become so involved we kinda oversea the whole ministry! Its so very much fun and truly a joy! We love getting to know all the kids and loving on them. At our last beach baptism Raschelle's void was spent sitting for 2 hours holding baby Lauryn who has become quite attached to Raschelle. Ian walked up to Ryan every 10 minutes and did his "Ryan Check" by making sure he was still there and telling him "hi". So cute!

Needless to say, we are truly attached to them and cannot wait until we have one of our own.....

Until then......

The More I Seek You

Every morning, we go thru the routine of our day. Wake up, shower, eat breakfast, get in our cars, drive to work, struggle with all that the day brings us, eat lunch, keep working, come home, do laundry, cook dinner, spend time with our loved ones, and finally lay down to start it all over again.

Little do we know, that during that time, the Lord is begging for us to "lay back against Him and feel His heart beat". Spend 10 minutes being overwelmed by what He can and will do for us.

We challenge you to take 10 minutes and lay against His chest, just breathe, melt in His peace and be overwelmed by Him.
