Well, Ella is just about 5 weeks away!!!! Cant believe it!!! But, I can sure feel it! Yesterday we had another check up.....thus started our weekly visits to the doctor! Yesterday, unexpectedly, they treated us to an ultrasound! Our doctor wanted to measure her and make sure she hadn't turned into the very large child we are expecting.....heres a clue...Ryan weighted 10.5 when he was born!!!!!
Needless to say, she is growing right on schedule. She didn't gain any tremendous weight and keeps going up the chart at a steady pace! She is 5lbs right now! She has a chubby little face. Our doctor walked in during the ultrasound and said "oooh, she has mama's chin". We cant wait to see all of her features!!!
Her head didn't get much bigger, only 8.5cm now! And she is in the 76th percentile for her weight and length. She did finally show us her sweet little face, though it was a fight to get her too! So here is the picture.....its going to be in "portrait" view.....she was laying sideways, so when you flip it, you can see it much better......so, the top of the picture is her head....you can see one eye on one side of her head and a shadow on the other. She is in a "boxing" pose....like she is going to punch you with her two hands! Her little chin and lips and nose show too. Hopefully you will be able to make her out...its really cute!
We cant wait for her to get here!!!! Its so close!!!
Ryan and I think she is a mix between our neices Ari and Jenna right now....we see both of them in this picture! And yes, she still had a good amount of hair compared to the DeGeyter girls!
