Baby #2!
Some of you have been texting and emailing questions about our pregnancy. So here is what we know so far! Today marks my 14th week! The end of the first trimester! The second trimester is considered your honeymoon stage! Yah!!! Im finally feeling more energized and not exhausted! I still have lots of tummy aches but no vomiting! I feel completely different than when I was pregnant with Ella! (A boy maybe?) I have lots of acne and hair in strange places (TMI Im sure). I can fall asleep at the blink of an eye. And my appetite comes an goes. With Ella I was always hungry, now I have serious adversions to food and am not too hungry at night.
The baby is about the size of a lemon! It has completed the most crucial parts of growing and starts its transforming to cute little baby now! Its arms will reach porportion, its head is sitting more erect and its body functions start doing their work now. Its growing its lanugo, its soft little hair all over its body, and will start kickboxing soon. Though I wont feel kicks for a while I do feel its flittering and flipping!
My friend let me borrow her doppler and I listen to its heartbeat every night at bed time. While some may find this obsessive and strange, its a peaceful little reminder of the LIFE that is inside me. I am PRO life and always have been, but becoming pregnant is such a miraculous thing, I sometimes wonder how "pro life" some people are. Do they realize that by week 5, your babies circulatory system is fully operational, which means, despite how early you are, you have a life inside you! I now completely understand the reason miscarriages are so devestating! God designed life to begin immediately! By week 6 it has a liver, kidney and lungs! Finding out early on about your pregnancy may be scary but its certainly a miracle and the ability to start bonding early on is so exciting to me!!
Our little pickle is set to arrive June 13th, but that changes daily. We do have names picked for when we find out what we are having (8 weeks from now). But we might not share this time. Here are two ultrasounds from our last two appointments. I wont have any more for a while now, so the doppler will keep me at peace about its growth!
7 weeks! Just a little munchkin!
13weeks, a little pickle!
If you look next to the "H" in head, thats its nose/eyes. The long white line below the word body a little is its arm!
Thanks for all your joy and excitment, we are so blessed God has given us another opportunity to bring a child into this world and teach it about its creator and life giver! He truly is a majestic Lord!

Christmas in the Park!
We spent the evening hanging out with the Myrick side of the family and had such a special night in the park!! Largo Central Park had a huge spread of lights that we walked thru. Ella was in hog heaven! She not only had her cousins, but she loved the lights! It was a very special time now that she is old enough to enjoy it! So thankful for such an amazing family, both in the Myricks and DeGeyters. We have truly been blessed by each of them!!!
