So, today, Im checking in a very pretty African American little girl. Beautiful! Her mom was filling in the "race" section of her intake form and all of a sudden looked up at me very concerned....I gave her an "ok, ask me" look and she said it.....
"Well, Dayshia is black, but she was born in America, so does that make her white?"
Seriously? Youre kidding right?

He Tore the Viel!
In every Season, we are to continue serving, continue trusting, continue believing. Its been a pretty tough week and each day we are reminded to come to the cross, kneel before Him and remember that He goes before us, He shields our ways, His hand upholds us, and we "know He loves us". For it was at the cross where we bow our knees, to where His blood was shed for us, because there is NO greater love.

A Quiet 4th!
We enjoyed our 4th with a low key night at the Dunedin Stadium and a night of sparklers at home together. Needless to say, Hailey was not fond of fireworks and tried her hardest to get in the house....the dog gets airs!!!!
