Ella Grayce Myrick

Its a girl!  Itty Bit has become Ella Grayce, our sweet little blessing from God was introduced to us yesterday and we are soooo thrilled!  We were even blessed to share in the moment with both sets of our parents!

Today I am exactly 20 weeks a long!  Holy cow!!!  Half way there!  Her due date is March 18th.  Everything checked out good at the appointment!  We saw her 4 heart chambers and her brain, all of her bones and spine and kidneys.  Her little bladder and stomach!  She moved a lot but kept her legs crossed most of the time.  She even put her hand behind her head at one point!  Was extra cute!!!

Here are three pictures from our little girl.....she was quite stubborn in showing us her girly parts, but finally uncrossed her legs long enough to confirm shes Ella!

Fall!

Saturday our friends invited us to go to Hundsader Farms for a little Fall Festival.  I have to admit, when we drove into one of the 3 parking lots for the over 3000 people in attendance, I was a little surprised.  Ive been to Fall Festivals before, but nothing like this!!!!  Of course, I forgot my camera, so I stole a few pics from our friend.  When I say this place was huge, I mean this place was huge!  It had everything you can possible imagine and more!  Hundreds of craft stands, food stands, games, corn maze, pumpkin launcher, corn shooter, lumberjack show, trapeze, tight rope walkers, motorcycle show, petting zoo, pig train, dancing, hay ride, etc etc etc....

Today we are celebrating Jenny's birthday!  We hope you have a great day!  We love you!

We are so blessed!

This past weekend we flew up to Atlanta to surprise Shelley for her birthday!  It was a very quick trip, but we had such a blessed time!  I left my camera at Rebecca's so I dont have a lot of pictures, but here are a few fun ones from the trip!

3 Weeks Away!

Eight weeks in between ultrasounds is killer!  I dont know how women did it back in the ol' days!  We are three weeks away from seeing our beautiful little Itty Bit again!  This time though, its going to be a big day!!!

On October 26th we get to find out the gender of our sweet little baby!  Ryan and I are thrilled to find out what we are having!  We have our suspicions, but no wives tale is ever correct!  We cant wait to just see our baby again on ultrasound and hear that little heart beat and know that all is well! 

At this appointment we will be 20 weeks a long!!!  Half way through our pregnancy!  WE CANNOT believe we are this much closer to one of our biggest dreams!!!! 

The months ahead are scary and exciting all at once.  There are moments of complete fear, but moments of complete elation at the same time.  I have been feeling better than ever the past week.  This is the first time that I have felt myself but a mommy at the same time.  Im not near as tired as I was....I dont have any of the pains/cramping/twinges etc that I was having...no more bleeding....my food adversions have disappeared and I am well on my way to a good 2nd trimester!  We've heard this is the best time of pregnancy!

No, I haven't felt "beautiful" or amazing or the best Ive ever felt....I believe those women are few and far between.  Pregnancy is an amazing creation from God, but not the best feelings ever!!! 

Some of our friends have said that the best time to do home renovations and getting the nursery ready are during the 2nd trimester because of how tired and big I will get during the 3rd, so we are going to start making headway on those projects as soon as we know the sex of the baby!

Wish we had more pictures or news, but our Itty Bit is growing and loving on me more and more every day!  We cant wait for you to meet her/him!  Next Post....Baby Gender!!
